Yes, I replaced them with stockers. I replaced all of them because I figured with 100K on the clock, there would be more to follow. That should be part of Ford's maintenance plan. Replace cop's at 75,000 mile.

If it's not your fuel filter it's most likely your cop's. I had to replace mine at around 100,000 miles. I had a low rpm hesitation and a hesitation when giving it gas and I didn't have a CEL either.
i've been thinking it might be that too. Any way to test them? did you replace the COPs with stockers?
I just bought these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=360028431508 I can't tell you if they are any good because they haven't come in yet.

That's a good deal. 10 bucks a piece.

I got them in today. It only took 2 days from the time I bought them until they were delivered!! They fit fine and work, so for the price I don't see anything wrong with them. I started the car but haven't driven it but I'm sure they'll be fine.

that's good to hear, I replaced the fuel filter and no luck. I might get the car checked to see what is the problem. I would hate to replace theCOPs and have no good result. Let me know how they work after a few miles.

well hmmmm......

did you ever see if it was throwing any codes?

when you say sluggish....what do you mean exactly? just doesnt "feel" as fast as it used to? or is it sputtering, or making any noises?

edit: by the way, autozone will scan the codes for free, if its throwing any. just b/c your cel light isnt on, does not mean it isnt throwing codes. if the COPs have never been changed, then like everyone else suggested, those may be the next thing to look at.

It's not as fast as it used to be. It makes no mystery noises and is not sputtering. The only thing i that the engines is a little shaky, sometimes even felt inside the car.

EDIT: i'll have it scanned today.

they're probably as good as OEM, but i'm wondering how much they'll last compared to the stockers.
