Default Bumpsteer Kit??

I JUST bought tires last year. put about 5k MAX on them and the tread on the outside is wearing down incredibly fast... my car is lowered, hasCC plates and tokico shocks/struts. i have a steeda front sway, FLSFC's, and some xbrace thing thta connects from my left side main beam to my right.. i cant explain but it says kenne brown on it

anyways, i brought my car in for alignment bc my front tires are wearing EXTREMELY fast on the outside... my mechanic told me that all looked good but the camber was off by a hair and he rotated my tires for me. he said that the tread being worn down this fast can be because of my huge sway bar?? he said i may just need to buy a bumpsteer kit..

now i trust my mechanic bc he is my sister's b/f's father... why would he tell me to buy something and spend $150+ if i dont need to?? but my question is, what is a bumpsteer kit and do you guys think thats what i need to stop my outer tread to stop wearing so quickly in the front?

Bumpsteer happens when your suspension geometry is out of alignment (possibly from lowering), but its main characteristic is that you hit a bump and your car "steers" itself in the direction of least resistance. A bumpsteer kit takes your tie-rod ends and drops them back to level in an attempt to correct this issue

so therefore, buying a bumpsteer kit would give me a good chance of saving hundreds on buying tires every two years??

well considering i only put about 7k on my car per year, 14k for tires is absolutely horrific i think... i only do a lot of close driving. im still 18 but commuting back and forth to college will amount to a few more miles per year. o and shore trips [8D]
