So I am wanting to get my windows tinted but noticed that both windows have scratchesrunning up and down on sections of each window. So, figuring this issue would scratch the tint and ruin it, I asked the previous owner and he said that was why he removed the tint. It was scratched and looked bad. So what can I do to prevent this if I get the windows tinted? I have read of people adding felt but where? Should I put it just on the stabilizers or all along the door that touches the window? Thanks and has anyone else here had this issue?

 

You will have to take the door panels off and put the new felt strips on...

 

Okay thanks I will just have to try and look to see where the scratches are coming from.
