I'm on my second Mustang vert. Both of mine have been my DD's, and like someone else said, nothing beats goin 80+ with the top down. If you haven't experienced it, you really can't judge and insult vert owners! Even with the added weight,we can make plentyof powerwith mods. On the other hand, if it is not your DD, and solely for performance,a vert wouldn't make very much sense...

lol i dare most of the GT coupes on this forum to race me...see how much of a differnce that weight means. IDK why coupe owners always insult vert owners. I never seen a vert owner say, "Coupes suck, shoulda got a vert".

yeah I actually had to hold out a little longer to find my coupe

Vert GT's are a dime a dozen around here. It's all in personal preference but I hate every aspect of a vert. Friend has one and that thing sucks.

If I want to feel the wind I'll ride my motorcycle.

+1. Thats a typical coupe guys comment, "verts suck, they just do" no explination whatsoever. Weight is the worse excuse in the world, that 150 lbs dont mean much at all. Like mentioned its all personal preference. I love my vert, and it moves as well. If I want a coupe i just put my top up.

Interiors are smaller (side room in back and leg room in front and back), sound system sounds crappier, a lot more road noise, a lot more prone to water leaks, more parts to maintain/replace, bumpier ride, and they're a lot more prone to squeaks and rattles.

Even with all of that it's still nice to drop the top on a summer's night and go cruising.
