verts have the little extra weight no prob. When I had mine I locked the doors and at midday while I was at home someone cut the top jumped in and stole $2 in change and 2 cds, I had no garage so I started leaving the doors unlocked, this was cheaper than buying another top., still got broken into (although still nothing was inside). Also I hated the heat, unless it was early morning or late at night it was hot with the top down, it's like coupe=standing in shade and vert=standing in the sun.

it wasn't that bad of a area, I had lived there 7 years with no problems or neighbors that had problems then after having that car for 1 year or so that happened. I like coupes better cause like i said in the summer it was hot with the top down unless it was before 9 am or after 8 pm. If you live in a cooler place I guess it would be better.

I live in Florida, and I don't think I ever put the top up.....unless of course it rains, in which case I try not to drive the car at all in the rain, because of how dirty the car gets from driving in the rain.

Florida heat & sun is amongst the hottest in the country. I think you're a bunch of whiners about the heat [8D]

and oxfordGT........please don't tell me you're incinuating with the same driver & the same mods there's that much of a difference in speed?! Obviously in your pics you either had different mods, or it was clearly driver error. I can post pics of 400HP cars in my rear view! Doesn't mean that's typical results. It's driver error on the other drivers part.

Actually I am saying it isn't hotter with the top down with it up. It's actually quite logical if you think about it. With the top down you have tons of wind to cool you down, whereas with the top up you have limited wind and are forced to use AC. I don't ever use AC, and I live in Florida.

I've always been a window person. The last few cars I've owned over the last 5 years I can probably count the amount of times I used AC on my hand. Wind will cool you down sufficiently unless you're in stop and go traffic, which is why I refuse to travel in stop & go traffic. It's much to stressful, and then I'd be forced to use AC. j

Actually she was just following me in that pic but I though I'd use it to keep the rivalry going. Mission complete. Actually her car will never be as fast as mine. She doesn't want any more power then 600rwhp. What a wuss.

Oh verts still suck and nobodycan say anything to me about saying that because I own one

It's like my father taught me years ago......

He asked what the best ice cream flavor is, which I replied is chocolate. He said that's not true because there is no BEST flavor. He said it's all a matter of interpretation & opinion. He said he happens to like Vanilla the most, but it doesn't mean it's the Best in the world. It's only the best to him.

Point is, vert or coupe, the better one is all up to interpretation of a persons personal opinion. I hate watching sports, but love to play them....whereas some guys whole lives are sports. To each his own.
