Please please please check your facts before making ridiculous claims.

First, the 99 vert has 42.6 inches of front leg room, the EXACT SAME as the coupe.
Second, the 99 vert has 30.3 inches of rear leg room, the EXACT SAME as the coupe.
Third, the 99 ver has 37.9 inches of front head room, a whopping two tenths of an inch less than the 38.1 in the coupe
Fourth, the 99 vert has 35.8 inches of rear head room, another whopping one tenth of an inch less than the 35.9 in the coupe

If I wasnt so tired, I would dismantle your other claims.

I used to work at Ford as a tech and I am very familiar with Mustangs as I've been around them all my life, but I don't know what to tell you about how Ford came up with those numbers. Just look in the back seat of a convertable. There's less room because of thespace used for the window regulator, window channel, and hardware. As for the front seats, they don't allow as much lateral movement because the rear seats are placedfoward in the vehiclemore to provide room for the convertable top, top motor, and hardware to fold down. You can't tell me there's not less room in a vert. And dismantle my other claims? Really? How? Way to make yourself look like an a$$.

I have to agree I have two kids both of which are in booster seats and we can barely fit. It probably doesn't help that I am 6' 2". But I agree its tight!!!!!!!!

When my kid is in his car seat behind the passenger seat (he's only 1), my wife can barely get her legs under the dashboard. The back seats are definitely ridiculous.

True keeping in the truck would make sense but to go on a cruise to the local ice cream shop is loads of fun for them in the mustang than it is in the truck even though they got backseat entertainment!!
