Gears and an O/R midpipe. You may feel more pull with a new tb/plenum combo as well.

full exhaust will give u more power then any other bolt on. full exhaust, gears, sticky tires, and suspension work will give u the best results. id do tires, then gears, then exhaust then supension

LT's, mid pipe, gears, LCA's and DR's. Your goal is to hook up, most people who are new to the track go to the track on street tires and end up spinning 1st thru 2nd. Firm up the *** end of you car so that it hooks, have a respectable60 ft time and see how your car performs.

Mods list for new Stang owners

Here’s a short list of mods for stock Stangs in order of importance.

1) Subframe connectors:
This is the first upgrade I recommend, hands down. If you don’t already have them, get ’em on! If you have a verty, this is double important.

2)Custom Flash Tuner:
At this point you don’t really need a dyno tune, but a good custom base tune does several things for you both now and in the future. For now it adds some hp and makes your engine operate more efficiently. As you add things later it can correct for them and save you big $$.

a)Exhaust: Turns off the rear 02’s so you don’t have to buy Mil-Eliminators($60 saved)

b)Gears: Corrects your speedometer(’99&up) so your not buying a SpeedCal ($90 saved)

c)Turn off traction control so you don’t need a Trac Ready module($50 saved)

d)Auto owners can bump up their shift points ,converter lock-up and line pressure. No need for a shift "kit" ($100-250 saved) .

e)SCT’s tuner allowes you to set a "Two-Step" rev-limiter (’99 & up)for worry free launching at the track. No need for an MSD "stutter" box ($185 saved)

With many of the custom flash tuners on the market, you can either adjust for these things on the handheld unit itself or your PC. And because it’s a "custom" tuner, your dealer can adjust your tune when you make more radical mods. It just might be the last one you ever buy. And btw: In addition to all the cool features and fixes you will also net a 15-30rwhp gain!

3) Exhaust:
Often times this is the first modification a new Stang owner makes. I was guilty of this with my GT.....man our cars sound good don’t they

4)Cold Air Intake:
Coupled with your tune and exhaust, this completes the chain of making a more "free breathing" air-pump(engine).

5) Gears:
While not first on this list, gears are the number one seat of the pants upgrade for any Stang!

6)Choose your bolt-ons and suspension parts:
From here on out the choices are endless. After the first four things on the list are done you’re better prepared. Your chassis is stiffer to handle added HP, you have your tuner to adjust with as you mod, the Stang sounds better and meaner everyday and the parts you add will work to their highest efficiency.

Happy Modding![/align]
