30,000 miles and fuel light Q's

Default 30,000 miles and fuel light Q's

1. I hit 30k miles... what should I do for the tune up? it's an auto trans... has a BBK cai, diablosport programmer, 70mm TB, eibach prokit springs, MAC o/r prochamber and magnapacks.


2. how many gallons do I have left when the 'low fuel' light turns on?

I am assuming you have changed the oil regularly, and at least looked at the air filter, if so then it depends on how much longer you plan on owning the car... [/align][/align]If you plan to put another 50k or more on it before you sell that I'd flush the cooling system, and change the transmission fluid.To do it right, because of the car's age, it would not hurt to also flush the power steering and braking systems.[/align][/align]The plugs are scheduled to be changed at 100k miles.[/align][/align]If you are not planning on keeping another 30k to 50k miles, then you could get away with doing nothing--unless you are obsessive like me, then do the above anyway, and the fuel filter.[/align]

2. how many gallons do I have left when the 'low fuel' light turns on?
[/align]1-1/2 to 2-1/2 gallons depending on the accuracy and placement of the sending unit.

2. whenever the low fuel light turns on and i go fill her up i put in about 13....and the tank is a 15.4 so do the math

well... I replaced the fuel filter at like... 15k i think... so I guess I should do it again... and as for the fluids and such they're still in decent shape.... so I guess I'll just keep an eye on it....
