i think its the ford hate. i wear one of my ford shirts to college and get a wide variety of fordslanderings... found on road dead... fixed or repaired daily... f***ed on race day... etc.

Reasons people hate Mustangs.

1. Tons of people hate Fords.
2. Mustangs are Fords icon car.
3. Cheap
4. Very common.
5. Bad rep from '96-'98 as **** poor performing V8's.
6. A decent measuring stick.


Could not have said it any better...Where I'm from its a small town and Mustangs run the roads everywhere. The biggest thing with the new gen is people who dont know anybetter shun the 4.6l because they dont understand we have pi heads and intake.which the old 96-98 didnt have. The only thing that really pisses me off is when there like Mustangs are girls cars..damnit son that makes me mad.

Where I live there are NO mustangs. None. But as i plan on buying one I can only imagine what the reaction will be.

1. Idiots in 1600cc cars wanting a race and sitting up your **** constantly.
2. People generally thinking that it looks `Ridiculous` especially if it has any kind of decals or stripes
3 As there is none of them, curiousity.

On the plus side, more mature and enthusiast type guys will be genuinley interested.

 

Mr Graystang, you have a GT I assume, yet your douchebag neighbor has Subaru's top of the line performance model. I see a discrepancy in performance and price... Tell him to race a more comparably priced SN95 i.e. 2003-2004 SVT Cobra. Ford's top of the line peformance model with a similar sticker price. That should shut him up.
