Default Maximum Motorsports Rear Suspension??

Anybody happen to be running or have any experience with MM's Panhard Bar/Torque Arm suspension setup for the 99-04 GTs??

Default RE: Maximum Motorsports Rear Suspension??

I have CC plates and LCA's from Maximum Motorsports and they helped my 04 GT's handling a lot.
MM makes very well built products but I've never used the setup you are looking at.

These links can help.

No Question! Basically the difference that I feel is that the car feels more planted when I'm driving it. When I come around a corner at speed the car feels WAAAAYYY more stable and when I stomp on the gas I don't get the wheel hop that I used to get(ANNOOOOYYING!!!!) Also, the grip of the car in a turn is much better and I can turn at much higher speeds with confidence. When you first start turning at speed with this setup you'll be a little nervous because you'll feel you're going to fast but once you exit the turn you'll realize that you probably could have gone faster without issue. When the back does come out it is very controlled slide as it should be.

Long story short? Best thing I could have done on the car!

BTW be careful what you post at Corner Carvers. The boys there aren't very tolerant of suspension newbies!

Wow, I like that review. I like hearing from people who actually have the mod in question.

Thanks! When I first got the car I took it out on the road course to see what I liked and disliked about how it handled. After I ran it for a couple of days I came to the conclusion that the suspension was crap. The car understeered pretty badly and the wheel hop was unacceptable. Brakes were worthless for road racing and the car needed a little more oomph going down the straights. I decided to start on the suspension first and yanked it all out down to the K member(The stock one is pretty heavy compared to the MM tubular one I put in) and installed MM's Max Grip box. Night and Day! It was sooooo much better afterwards!

Have you ever drag raced it? The cornering would be nice, but I'm really looking for a good street/strip setup.
