Not many 99-04s about. I can get a new shape one 04 onwards but I`m looking $30,000 and up for used and that kinda defeats the 2nd car thing. My minds set on a 94 -95 5.0. Its just for a run out on a Sunday, anyway I have an excuse thenwhen my buddies diesel van tears past me, [sm=smiley36.gif]

ouch 30k for an 04...

if you have to choose between the older ones then i would go with what steve said as well and get the 5.0. even tho you want it mostly stock, if you ever do decide to mod it, there are tons of mods available...and cheap as well.

you can always order off the net. (for mods)

Wow, yea man if you can find a 5.0 with that low of mileage, that hasnt been beaten to death, then I would probably go with the 5.0 too. 5.0's sound better too IMO

thats a very clean looking 5.0 I would hop on that just because i like the pushrod engines , on the other hand if you got the 96-98 4.6 you could do a p/i swap and make slightly a little more horse power then the 99-04 gt's

looks likely it will be an auto. To be honest I`d prefer a manual though. Mustangs here are rare enough never mind finding a choice of cars with gearboxes.[sm=smiley24.gif]
