I have a Spare Stock h-pipe here from a 03 GT did anyone ever just remove the cats and add some pipe? i assume this will work as a O/R H Pipe?

Yes it will be same as an O/R pipe except pipe is 2.25 inches rather than 2.5. You may also pull a service engine light after the swap.

Just buy a new O/R H pipe, for like 150 bucks or cheaper. Then cut the cats off your stock midpipe and cash them in. When I cashed mine in (2 months ago) they gave me $15 a piece for them so I got $60 all together. Then take that money and put it on your credit card that you used to order the new H pipe

nope. i tried to beat them out with a piece of rebar and it was a pain in the ***, the internals are really stiff. i ended up pounding the shell of the first set of cats to break it up inside and cutting a square on thesecond set of *cats* and taking the stuff out and welding it back together.

*the second set of cats is really mesh wire. it doesn't filter.
