e brake

Default e brake

can leaving an e brake up ruin an engine or just cause bad gas mileage and bad brakes

I dont think it can ruin an engine unless you do it for really lon time (thousands of miles). It can F up alot of other things though

There's no way it can ever ruin an engine. Possibly your clutch since you'll have to rev it up higher to get moving, but it would take a while. It will ruin your brakes, though.

it would damage the the pads, rotors and if it got hot enough it could even hurt the calipers. all depends how long you drove that way.

Just a basic rule of thumb.....If it's not supposed to be run like that or used in that manner, then more than likely it'll mess something up! ....motor? unlikely....brakes as mentioned above, yes! lol
