i meant you cant outshift an auto, but either way you can shift an auto its called a manual valve body.

stock mustang autos are slower.... read the post before you post this nonsense... everyone knows that for a strictly drag car, and automatic is the best because there are no misshifts...

pretty sure there are auto guys on here that have pulled off 13.9s stock, dont see your reasoning when there are plenty of manual guys that can hardly get into the 14s.

my car is a manual and i am looking to build a c4 as i will be running a turbo and the preffered transmission for a turbo car is an automatic.

well my car is an auto... and i'll tell you bone stock it was a hell of alot slower than it is now, and slower than my old manual

it just all depends on what you make of it, have you installed a stall converter or plan 2?
