i am talking about stock gears, that i have right now....yesterday, when i was driving 50mph in third gear i was at 2200 rpm's

what i am asking is what happens when i get the gears, what will my mph be at 2200 rpms, and you are saying my mph will drop

Yeah with 4.10's it will take more rpm's to go the same speed

It makes you accelerate faster by multiplying torque. there is about 25% more torque multiplicaton with 4.10's compaierd to the stock. For example first gear accelerates faster than third because it has more torque multiplication. aka a steeper gear ratio.


Also the way the ratio works is for 3.27(stock) if you have 3.27 complete rotations of the driveshaft you have 1 rotation of the wheels.

if you say autos were slower at a dragstrip you would be kicked in the ***** lol . you physically cant outshift an automatic, most dedicated drag cars are autos.
