No, they lose more power through the tranny than the manuals. Also, the shifts aren't as firm since they're controlled by hydraulic pressure. Nothing a shift kit can't fix, though.
i think its partally the gear ratios first is only a 2.84:1 and mostally that you cant launch as well because the torque converter has physical slipping rpm limitations before you will just spin the tires trying to powerbrake.

i firmed up my shifts with my tuner, and it was a huge difference, not to mention my shift points i changed...so when i get gears, am i gonna be f*cked by my rmps since i have less gears? or is my mph gonna change at those rpm's?
