Your a complete idiot if you think you have to be making over 400hp NA to produce over 800hp FI. There are so many more things that come into effect on boosted apps and if done right can make insane power.
A completely stock mustang 4.6 with forged internals but stock compression ratio if boosted to 29psi will make 675rwhp. Now add heads, cams, intercooler, meth, light weight rotating parts and that number jumps up to 800+ and the boost will drop to under 25lbs. So a completely built 4.6 (stage 3 heads, stage 3 blower cams, lower compression, meth) will make at most NA 360rwhp. If you boost that engine to 14.7psi you will get 720rwhp(on a good tune). I really hope I dont need to give you the engine builder a class on how I got those number using simple math that anybody that builds engines for FI should know. But I will if you ask nicely.
oxfordgt, not to interrupt this exciting thread, but i have to ask what exactly are your wheels? size, finish and everything - they are the best wheels ive seen on a new edge. i felt like this was an ok time to ask lol sorry

i dont know a whole lot about building engines and stuff thats why i come on forums like this to get answers to my questions, but its hilarious when people post up such idiotic stuff saying they know all this stuff about buildings engines when all it sounds like is they are talking from their ***.
