Ford has issued several TSBs, 03-14-4, 04-16-1, 05-22-8 dealing with misfires, and stating in each that 50% of COPs returned by dealers do not have any problems.

The first thing to do is check the COP boots for signs of arcing, then the plugs for proper gap, colour reading, etc.

You can get new boots and conductor springs here for $3 each!

If Changing plugs doesn't work that is the next path that i am going to be taking. I have put new boots and conductors on a couple of the original coils.

So i went home for lunch today and decided to change a couple plugs. I pulled the coil off of the #4 plug and to my surprise, the plug was sitting in anti freeze. Looks like i will be changing some intake gaskets tonight
