Default hello all!!!

HELLO ALL!i'm new here to the mustangforum so let me introduce myself.i'm 31,and have been an avid mustang owner since '92 when i got my license to speed, and street race.since then i've grown up quite a bit especially after i had to pay for my own car when i hit 18.i still own it today its a '79 cobra all original except for pony wheels.i now own 5 mustangs including my wifes new baby '06 roush stage 1 no its not supercharged(whatd?)who woulda thought.well i took ownership over her previous '98 gt,and can't wait to tear into it,but i'm kinda new to the mod movement, and need some advice.i know the stock non pi heads suck so what do i do have them ported or buy a new set like patriot performance cnc ported heads or just swap on a pair of pi's.i plan on freshning up the bottom end with forged pistons soon so what else to produce about 450hp at the wheel besides nitrous or boost.i'd like to keep it natural for now.thanks

Well no matter how good you are you will never make 400rwhp out an N/A.

If you are going for monster street car I would say build the bottom end. Get some Fox Lake ported heads. and A kenne bell 2.8 supercharger.

But that all depends on your budget.

Um, it's possible and I've done it. Takes more work and knowledge than most anyone has though.

There has also been a 430rwhp N/A 2V in Texas. Holds the fastest N/A 2V record.

Just thought I'd clear that up.

I'm throwing out the B.S. flag.

Show proof. Highest I have ever seen was 375rwhp

Best I have ever seen is 378 RWHP. And that was on a dynojet with v6 rims on the back.

I agree with the BS flag

BTW the bucket didn't have have n/a 400rwhp.

we gotta get Mitch in here.

My engine has not hit a NMRA event, so I will not release info about it yet.

One has already far surpassed that number, and there is also another one running around as well (Logan Motorsports car).
