youre about to make a big mistake....if you cant afford an 03/04 cobra then dont bother with a stang... buy an 98-02 camaro(ugly) or trans-am(sexxxxxxxxy)... mustangs are pigs unless you got plenty of money to spend...you can get a nice 98ish ws6 trans am with a 6 speed for 10ish.... add a nice cam and bolt ons and youre over 400rwhp....ls1>4.6

to be honest i am not looking for power instantly once i get it. to me the mustang is one of the most clean sexy looking cars in the world. dont get me wrong trans ams are fuggin sweet i got a dad with an 85 fuel injected trans am but to me you aint got true american power unless you got a pony on it. really i just want a mustang

it took me 4 months to find a mustang i would be happy with.

and one way i look to see if it's been driven hard is to look at the carpet next to the gas pedal:

this is how my carpet looked like 3 months after i bought it. my shoe would dig into the carpet everytime i went wot. i drove it hard the first month i had it. now i just cruise everywhere i go. i haven't gone past 4k rpm in like 2 weeks.
