I don't know, I went from a built automatic, so I went with a mccleod twin disk, and I absolutely love it

ive hit 6000rpm in 5th, not sure mph that would be. that was with the stock engine an blower, now with the built block i hardly drive it let alone run hard. to many cops where i live now and gas keeps going up.

I never went into 5th, either. Is there enough torque in a stockish GT like mine to go any farther in fifth? I let off at the end of fourth.

Thats suppose to be 158 with sock gears (3.55) or 137 if you had 4.10's

stock gears are 3.27 on gt stangs, mach 1 stangs use 3.55

oh lol, I knew that, I though you were talking about the 03 cobra vert. the 03-04 cobras came with 3.55's

u r right on that one. my cobra has 4.10s. i havent tried any high speed blasts on the snake.

the factory says my gears run out at 152, i've only ever hit 136ish.
