tuner questions

have a stock 04 gt 4.6 and curious as to how much a difference a tuner alone would improve performance.also whats difference between tuner,flash tuner ,programmer ,or chips

Not going to make a huge difference. You need to get your exhaust done, headers, mid pipe, cat back (as much as i don't care for them).
