LOL holley has a lot of offbrands.. trust me go out on a limb and buy a set. the flanges on them are like paper thin... they are just all around cheap headers..

sounds like no one has experience with the flow techs on a 2v gt, you might have to be the first and let us know how they fit. take pics and good luck.

That's correct, Mine have been fine. I believe there were some early quality control problems that were resolved before I bought mine. They are Hooker clones as Holley owns both Hooker and Flowtech. Install them per the supplied instructions and use hi-temp RTV on the slip joins along with Stage 8 locking bolts and you'll have no problems. Mine fit fine. I didn't have to dimple them or the floor pans and they have noot cooked my steering shaft like a lot of other "better quality" headers do. Also I have removed my transmission several times with no clearance problems like you have with the "better quality" headers. Too many people on here just repeat interweb bullsh!t that have no personal experience with a product.

thats good to know that they dont have the clearance or fitment issues anymore. I helped my neighbor put his on a few yrs back and they where ****. the flanges where really thin and the welds sucked on em. i may try em out on my coupe when its time for exhaust, are yours rusting yet?

Theres nothing wrong with flowtech headers man go ahead and get them you wont be disappointed.

Theyre about the same quality as mac or bbk.Ive never used them in a 4.6 application but ive used them for years in 5.0-5.8 and never had any issues.

I do suggest you get a set of aftermarket gaskets though the ones you get with them are paper and junk.

Dont be a TREND ***** and just base a parts quality on the name.Theres a lot of no name stuff out there thats built on copies look at professional products.

Like I said they had some problems early on in production. Mine have some light surface rust after 3 winters on my daily driver. I wish I'd paid the extra for the ceramic coating but I'm a cheap azz.

Hooker headers FTW ! A guy I work with has flowtech headers on his GT and has nothing but good things to say about them. He b#tched about the install but thats all , He has no clearance issues also. They sound great bolted on to his bassani set up.
