It seems like chrome is the popular choice from the members, but if you don't think you are going to keep them clean I'd go with a powder coated wheel.. even if it is silver or hyper silver.

as to the op...my buddy had a sunburst gold procharged gt..he too had the chrome 03/04 cobra wheels (18X9, 18X10.5) man did those things look sinister

 

I would go with Bullitts or DD Bullitts.
They may be common on line, but I have only seen one set of stock Ford bullitts around here and I have yet to see any DD wheels of any kind other then mine, and there are slug of Mustangs all over the place here.

Yeah, where I am it seems like every 17 year old kid throws some chrome cobra r's on their stang, especially my body style. Thats another reason i was thinking of the black finish or the bulitts because around here they arent as common.

 

Go with black Saleens. I need to scoop up some pictures of 99Mustang0's (I think that's his name) GT that was gold with black Saleens and it looked so fawking good.
