Alright, im goin to be buying some billet specialties street lite wheels that im goin to use for the track and i was wondering which tires i should get. I might occasionally use these wheels for the street so i was debating on just getting a M/T drag radial rather than a true slick. I have a set of 17" bullits i daily drive with so what do you guys think i should get?

 

friend of mine used m/t for street they wear vary quick and watch out for drip of water on the road...i read into nittos and there nt-01 would be a better bet for occational road but nice on the track just my opinion...

 

I'd go with a Drag Radial I think once you see the look that those wheels will give your car you want to leave them on more often. Are you buying a set front and rears??? If your only buying rear wheels get a set of slicks for them.

 

Im goin to buy a complete set. Right now i have nitto 555r's on my 17x10.5 bullits and i cut a 1.87 60ft. What do you think id get with the 15 street lites and some m/t drag radials?

 

I cut five consistent 1.74's with pro stars and Hoosier DR's 275/50/15 dropping the clutch at 4500rpm's. I hope your rear end is atleast 31 spline. If your still stock you'll really be testing those axles.

 

i have a moser 31 splines with a cobra diff....my whole goal is 11's...right now im sittin on a 12.1@116 with the 17" chrome bullits and nittos. my plans this winter are, a tubular k-member from UPR, the street lite wheels, and a rear seat delete. im hoping i can hit the 11's just by dropping weight since i don't wanna push anymore power out of the stock motor

 

Nitto 555's & DR's ftw on the streets! M/T DR's if you plan on spending a lot of time at the track!
