4.10s are the perfect gear for any mustang even ones with centri blower up to around 400 rwhp. If you are looking for more power than 400 + rwhp then it would make sense to go with 3.73s or possible 3.55s - end of story.
i ran 3.73s and switched up to 4.10s... but i daily drive on 275 mt drag radials and a built suspension, so traction isnt an issue, unless i spray 1st on the street w. out warming them up

So when/if you increase boost you're definately going to be over 400. Are you going to switch out the 4.10's to something shorter?
dont know what id get, most likely 4.10's, i only drive highway a few times, but i could see myself getting 3.73 and saying to myself "dahhh, should have gotten the 4.10's..."
I'm happy with my 4.10s.. yea you rev higher on the highway and traction was an issue before I got my 315 nittos. But at least it keeps me from speeding as much on the interstate.
I drive a '04 Roush. I spent the longest time searching through threads, and finally agreed to listen to the common phrase "4.10's FTMFW!" I loved them, turned the car into a completely different vehicle. However, I really didn't think I would ever be able to afford forced induction, hence the reason why I went 4.10's. But now that I have my supercharger, I regret my decision. With my Vortech, you just run out of gear so quickly. 1st, IMO, is practically useless. Don't get me wrong, the car pulls like crazy. But I hated how quickly it wrapped through the gears, so NOW I have a set of FRPP 3.55's in the back seat awaiting install. If anyone has any interest in the 4.10's, let me know. They have between 10-15,000 miles on them.
