Yeah man LT's are Long tubes. The reason why I went with shorties is because I got them real cheap. Once I installed my 410's didn't see that much of a diff as far as gas mileage. When racing 1st gear is useless but man the car get's into the powerband sooo much better. My install was kinda high ($350.00) you should be able to get them installed for about $250.00. I went with this guy because I knew that he would do it right. I had a 93 Z and I raced a friend (while staioned in Germany) that had a 04 GT and I beat him everytime. All he had was CAI and flow master's and I was completely stock. It takes time for the LT1 to wind up but when it does they are a handfull....

you dont seem to get the point....

he has a completely dif motor than you.. hes not running an anemic motor that responds terrible to mods. he is well into the 300s at the flywheel while your maybe at 285.. the most worth while mod you have done to your car is the o/r midpipe.. you dont even have enough mods for your tuner to do much, i doubt your even taking advantage of the timing you could be running from your tuner. His exhaust alone probable gave him a good 20 RWHP.

Couldn't have set it better. If I had known the way the 2v would react to mods I think I would have probally saved up and bought a Cobra or a Mach 1. Too late now. Buying a S/C when I get back from the Sandbox....

lol your neglecting the BEST bolt on mod for a 2v by passing up lts. thats the ONLY mod iv done for my car that i felt after install(other than gears) you will get the money back you spent on the midpipe...

get 4.10s and you could proble hang with him, and some lower control arms

because your supposedly the better driver.. race him from a roll and see what happens. just make sure he knows to down shift into his powerband before you guys start and see how much he pulls you by.. i myself dont really consider it a race unless its from a dig.. but you TRUELY see the faster car by racing from a roll.
