Truthfully I don't car if you're mad....... It seems as tho you're the only one having a problem. It's not about what you want or think just trying to help this guy out. This comes from a fellow 2v owner.. This is only a hobby and I don't argue over the net.

Dude..thats your fault for buying the x pipe you shoulda planned ahead but if you want to beat him or atleast keep up do every bolt on availible

Gears
Short Throw Shifter
Under Drive Pulleys
Intake Manifold
Throttle body and plenum
Longtubes and just sell your x pipe to offset the cost
and a damn good tune

then should hang with him and if yall are gonna race at a track get some fox springs or cut your Front ones because i know your in highschool like me and cant afford all this atleast do the bolt ons

Edit I will kill you in your sleep if you get shortie headers..whats up with doing 1/2 way mods like the shorties and the 3.73's. i mean if your really that worried about gas i understand but get LT's you wont regret it. Im 16 and im just sucking it up and gonna pay the extra money for gas it'll be worth it ( 4.10's going in next week)

Nice. I know this sounds crazy but maybe I should go out and test drive a stock 99-04.

Actually ill disagree about the best bang for the buck. Ill say nitrous is. Again im against a few all. Execpt this one is a toss up if both have = drivers. Hoss get over this... 300 lbs is alot quit saying its not much. Dont want to call you out again but are you joking? Drive with 2 other people in your car that weigh a total of 300 lbs and you tell me if your car is the SAME and there isnt a DIFFERENCE when racing... Arr i think your car wont break 13.7 average driver. He cant drive worth junk so you will win. NO DOUBT. BUT... if he learns to drive his car too will run 13.7ish like you. LT1 are very torquey AND one thing about those cars are that the more miles on that car the better they run...
