Its been a while, but they could have been bias-ply.. They were pretty damn big too (275/60/15)

I put 17K miles on a set of 275/40/17 MT Et Street Radials.

Had them for 3 summers as a Daily Driver, and probably 25-40 passes at the strip.

At the track I pulled a best stock suspension of 1.85..not terrible.

Having said that though, NO tires, aside from slicks, are going to support a 400+ whp car on the street w/o a nice heating. From a roll, sure it might be okay, but not from a dig. It's going to take some clutch play no matter what.

As for the MT ET Street Radials being bad in anything but perfect conditions, I had no issues. I can recall ONE time from a stop sign I accidently spun the rear tires/slid around.

I've said this DOZENS of times. If you KNOW you're on a set of DR's, and it's RAINING out, you shouldn't be trying to bring the *** around on a car. If you DO, it's not the tires, it's your driving.

Go with Mickeys if you're not going to be roasting the tires 5 times a day.

Nope, just a conservative driver not trying to fry em up for no reason.

My last trip to the drag stip pretty much finished off the one that was on the passenger side, and the driver side one is not looking too good either.

I think I'm gonna roast em up sometime this spring. (last time I did that, I ended up having to replace a head, lol..)

Nitto 305/35 extreme drags... they were slicker than whale **** for the first 1k miles. Now they hookup MUCH, MUCH better than my old 275/35 BFG KDW-2's. I don't know how the FI guys run anything less than these on the street. And after a little over 1k miles they show little to no wear.

I had few options (no options??) in a 305-18 street radial. I love them for the street, would probably go to a MT 295/45 for track.
