Please do not cut them...I think it looks ridiculous, not to mention you just paid a pretty penny to get the things. Put them on and run dumps if you don't want to do side exhaust. If you ever get tired of them, pull them off and sell them and you are no worse for the ware.

fair enough opinion, but FYI they cost me $60 and I won't be "getting tired of them" so I don't think I am really concerned with their resale value lol.

With mixed opinions from everyone here and the fact that I am still uncertain, I will just be attaching them and running dumps for now. Thanks for the opinions guys, it's always nice to find out what you all think.

ehh, if you get the you might as well do the side exhaust to make it look right. do you have any pics from the side of this car. curious as to what side skirting he is running as the rear covers make the rear bumper appear lower. if he is running the stock sides, it will look like trash because the rear will be low and the sides will be reg hieght. I say do it right or not at all.

I say run dumps. That Roush Rear Valence and dumps is the way to go. Like everyone said, easier too

To answer several questions here...

-I photoshopped it and the rear valances make it even with the stock side skirt so I will be even the whole length of my car now.

-The roads in my area suck and I really don't want to put a bunch of time/money into side exhaust right now until I can be sure that I will not have any issues with clearance. I plan to run around my back roads with some soda cans taped to the bottom of the side skirt (as a way to test clearance) before I go and do it and regret it. Sounds ridiculous I know, but no one will see me and it is a good way to not bust anything up.

Alright so I tried to change the color of the original photo and fix the tailpipes and cutouts. It should look a little more like what I would have.
