really?dam i need to buy one because either way if i were to take it to get tuned they would still make me a buy a xcal or some other tuner. might as well buy the sniper and make my own dam tune and check it with a wideband once i buy it.Jvog if i remember correctly you already installed your blower and used sniper to make your base tune. How did that turn out?
he was using a weird maf and couldnt figure out how to get it right i think. If your using a lighting maf or a sniper maf or pretty much any normal aftermarket maf you should be fine.. his was calibrated to his injectors IIRC so when he plugged it in it through sniper off.
Does the sniper have a feature that'll let you select the fuel octane and it sets the timing accordingly? Or will you need to adjust timing and listen for pinging to figure out if you need to run a higher octane?

it automatically advances it 2* globally i think on a 93 octane and u can play with it from there.

so if I run the software and set that I use 91octane, it'll automatically set the timing to a safe level? I am asking this because I would like to have a safe baseline to where I can start adding/retarding timing.

Yes you should be fine. If you have a laptop you can datalog it after you put the tune on and look at the timing
I dont think that the timing box reads right.. it was reading in the 30-40s on a car that was only advanced 2*

kk.. thats not good lmao, I don't wanna read it and be like oh, I have more room and up timing. Then I hear ping ping boom....
Wish I didn't have everything I need to fix atm, or I'd get special forces right now...=/ Rear end is going out so I need a new diff and will be getting 3.73's at the same time.
