If you did the pi swap on a npi shortblock, then you should have a cr of 10.5 to 1 which means you need a tune really bad, maybe car is pulling alot of timing from pinging. Another thing have you done a cr tets?

DO NOT manually shift your car unless you have a shift kit, i ran 13.9 in my auto, then i tried shifting and ran a 14.7 so you tell me what is better.

Get a tune or something, that is just terribly wrong

No I havent had any kind of test on it, It pinged alittle untill i put 91 octane gas in it

I only manually shifted it because the cars computer was pulling to redline and redlining for 2-3 sec I wasnt in the mood to blow the motor

u need 2 run with 93 octane fuel after doing the pi swap. that may be your problem because doing pi swap=more hp period. so something is way off. maybe a leak in ur headers, which can through the a/f ratio off. but do not use any other gas than 93 octane unless tuned for it.

i just watched the vids and wow!! if a civic challenges you to a race before u get the problem fixed make up some excuse why u can't race because u will get walked lol. if the state u live in offers 91 octane as the highest fuel grade. then how are u running 93??? even slight amount of detonation can kill your engine's performance/greatly increase wear on the internals

leak down test or a compression test to make sure its not in the head gaskets, did you buy your heads used? is it possible they aren't 100%, leaking valves or something.

Id defiantly would do some sort of a compression test just to make sure!
