if they said there is any chance of snapping at all..i woulda done springs...

but it sounds good man

Yea, same here. That just sounds to risky to me.

wow, i wish i had an extra 600 dollars laying around town, i would so do cams while my heads are out. oh well, im pulling the valves this weekend and finishing my polishing and porting job =O

congrats, i really like how it sounds on the dyno. It kinda gave me an idea to what mine will sound like after i install my long tubes and x pipe with my magnapacks.

thanks for the kind replys everyone!...i could have done springs but i wanted to be one of the few guys that goes out on a limb for some proof to other people that you can run these springs without valve springs...now i know right now is to soon to tell if it was a bad idea or not but if you ever see a post from me about "i have valve spring problems", then you will know it was a bad idea

Sure you can but for another 200 bucks for springs and a little bit more in labor you can have it done properly and not worry about having a lifter break and needing a new motor.

Congrats it sounds good! When you get some loot I would add the springs the risk is not worth it!
