hey guys, i'm looking at getting the flowmasters 3" exhaust system, i have h&r supersports on my 99 gt and i dont want it scraping more than it will normally, does the 3" kit tuck pretty good or should i just go to the local shop and go custom for about $250? thanks

Dont get a 3" catback unless your pushing some serious power. Yea it will be loud as all hell but your going to kill any hp gains by doing it.

thanks, i definalty dont want loud, my understanding was that bigger is generally deeper and smaller is kinda raspy, but if i'm losing power over it and getting tons of backpressure i'll just have an exhaust made, 2.5" good?

2.5 is the correct size.

Why not just get a catback?
2.5" should be good for anything your stock internals can handle and much more.
