Default ENGINE SWAP

Alright guys. I have been thinking about this for a while and wanted to see waht everybody thought about it. I would like to upgrade from a 2v engine in my car to the 4v that the cobras have to give me more options for BIGGER BETTER power. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can find a 4v engine fairly cheap?

If you want any 4V, get a Mark VIII motor, same as 96-98 Cobras, just way cheaper but you will need a different intake manifold. If you want a 99-01 Cobra motor, you're looking at about $4000. You may just want to pull your motor and throw some 99-01 32V heads on it, along with the intake manifold and other minor stuff.

The easiest thing to do is buy a totaled cobra and swap everything over. You'll need the manifolds and mid pipe as well.

Just build your motor, thats probably going to be cheaper anyway. Then you wont have to worry if everything will fit or not.

dont want a 4v car. i would have to completely start over on my mods to my car that i already have on mine. dont want to spend the money again on what i have already done. i will just build my motor and turn my car into a cobra killer instead of another cobra clone.

Just build the 2v up and stomp cobra's like they are VW bugs. Trust me its much more satisfying.

The list of everything you need to do a 4v swap is a headache in itself to write out let alone track down, like that guy said if you can get yourself a totaled cobra or a complete swap its worth it, otherwise i just say build the 2v.

then you say
dont want a 4v car. i would have to completely start over on my mods to my car that i already have on mine. dont want to spend the money again on what i have already done. i will just build my motor and turn my car into a cobra killer instead of another cobra clone.
but really building the 4v is just giving more credit to the cobra lol, if you wan't a cobra killer stick with the 2v.
