hey peeps

alright i blew mt engine due to a bad tune. i am now putting in forged 18 cc dished aluminum pistons with forged steel rods. i have the Eaton m112 that come stock with my saleen so i am changing the pulley so i can receive 12 psi. i am looking for some info on these Comp Cams Ford 4.6/5.4 SOHC Xtreme Energy XE265H Cams. so after i get her all back together lets she what she can put out on the dyno. ill keep everyone updated with the whole process. if their any parts anyone wants to sell me just let me know. i am interested.

I recommend you look at CMS Blower cams. Cushmanmotorsports.com they drop right in sound amazing. I went with CMS 2.5's.

humm so your blown at 12 to 13 psi and have those cams. your not pushing 500 rwhp yet? omg that the same set up i am doing. i though i should be around 500 rwhp. so what are you pushing?

Comp Cams Ford 4.6/5.4 SOHC Xtreme Energy XE274H Cams located on modmax. ill post whenever i get her running again what she did on the dyno with 12 psi. i am hoping to make at least 500 hp to the wheels. with port and polish and 2mm over size intake and exhaust valves i am hoping to make somewhere close. then i need to get some exhaust flowing instead of those manifolds and i should be seeing some good hp and torque jump.

Id make sure that these cams are good cams for blowers. Cus you dont really want an N/A cam with a blower/turbo.

Either get custom cams or cams designed for blowers. I have CMS stage 3 blower cams and love them. I just installed cms 2.5 blower cams in my friends cams and they sound good we will son on wed what they do.

what about my transmission? what the hp rating before that goes out?

350tq is what its rated at. So that tranny might be trash soon after the upgrade. Id suggest getting a TKO or a T56 to upgrade from the t3650.

omg another expensive problem. i am already supercharged too. well i guess ill wait til it goes out and get the 6 speed when iy happens. i guess i cant get sticky or wider tires or run her at the track

Yes you would be around 500 rwhp. I have not built my engine yet, so I previously was running 390 rwhp at 10 PSI and aftercooled but blew the engine. My new setup should get me with cams and extra 3 psi and mid pipe to 500 rwhp.

Make sure you definitely get a blower cam.
