Default Just had 4.10's installed on my stang and OMG!

Well i have an auto mustang and i just got my 4.10's put in and replaced the stock 3.23's... What a difference in the way the car pulls especially with my sniper tune...Probably the best performance mod i have done for the car by far.... But i have a question i have the base 87 octane sniper tune, but tonight i filled up and put 93 octane gas in the car (there was less than a quarter of tank of the 87 octane gas when i filled up). But the question i have is how long should i wait before i retune my car to the 93 octane. Thanks!

you should be fine, just listen for spark knock. If you hear it just tune it back until you fill up again.

Not sure why you'd wait..go for it. Thus far, I created the base 91 tune and then went back and added 1 degree across the board..definitely a nice little increase performance wise. You might load the base 93 tune and load it and see how that works for you. However..if I remember correctly (and I don't always) I believe I did read from several (including CliffyK) that the Sniper created base tunes for 87,91, and 93 are ALL the same timing wise. So you might create your 93 base tune, then go back and add a degree, give that a shot and listen for pinging. If none, go back and add 1 more (for a total of 2 degrees on top of the base tune)

How is first gear with those 4.10's? Useful? And how fat of tires are you running?

Sweet, 4.10's are a great mod for automatics.. Imagine if you went 4.30?

You shouldn't have to wait for any reason to change your tune to the 91 octane.
