I also take off in 1st. What's the point of having it if you're not going to use it.

I've had 4.10's in my last couple new edges and I couldnt feel a difference in either of them! Pulled no harder than before. I do believe they made me faster at the track in my old one, we'll see soon with this one.

MPG? Who gives a **** about MPG. I just want to be able to floor it in 1st

I've got a friend with 4.10's with a 5 speed, he's got 315's but he runs sumi's. And he can't hook until latter half of 2nd gear. But then again... sumi's suck.... He told me to get 3.73 and not 4.10's. But I either want 3.90's or 4.10's.

That is because sumo's suck first of all. I don't have a problem hooking up on the street with my 4.10s with 400 to the wheels. For me I really did not notice a difference in MPG from stock 3.27s to 4.10s as I drive aggressive and with 4.10s I really never have to drop a gear in 5th for power (prior to blower). Don't fear the gear. With 3.27s 5th gear just sucked.

that's sick i need to get some 4.10's too. and you should prob use the 91/93 octane. just because of the compression ratio of the mustangs. i dont want to get super technical but its better to use 91/93. 87 will create prob internally. but i like i said i don't want to get technical.

It's 9.0:1..that's not very high. You're not going to create internal engine problems from using 87 octane if using the factory parameters.

87 octane is fine for a stock 2v. The manual even says it.
