I recently had a remanufactured engine put in my 2000 gt. My old stang took 5w/30 and now the new engine, which I understood to be identical, calls for 5w/20. Did Ford change the oil recommendation sometime during the years of the 99-04 stangs? What engine might I have in my 2000?

I use 5winter 30 with 120k miles. they might say 5 20 because its a brand new engine.
