you can't flip 2v manifolds they will hit alot of stuff. your choices are 1. build turbo headers 2. buy turbo headers 3. plumb the exhaust from the stock manifolds to the turbo (what most do) 4. rear mount from what assume are your longtubes. 4. flip the 2v headers and cut and weld them so they don't hit anything (better hope your a good welder and brace them good).

with a K member you can flip certain brand shorties, I think FRPP, JLT and BBK ones work

you ever actually tried, its not the k member its the coolant/filter assembly it will hit doesn't matter what type of shorty.

cheaper, easier and less headaches to just buy turbo headers from the get-go

the thing to do would be buy a set of cheap ebay MILD STEEL shorties and chop them a couple inches short of the flange and weld on a new piece of pipe/flange to clear the a/c compressor and coolant neck/ oil filter housing. a cheap ebay stainless header will more than likely burn through at the welds in a turbo application because im sure most of them aren't back-gassed when welded.

ok, so then i guess my bassani optimum length ceramic headers wont work... im not about ready to take my 800 dollar headers off for a turbo, ill just continue looking at blowers then... i was hoping there would be a way to make those work with a turbo

the filter remote mounted yes, but the coolant neck is the hard part. they make one that has a straight out neck that you can put a hose on instead of the aluminum bend but then the header is gonna melt the hose.
