Default turbo

do you need to change your headers to a certain kind for a turbo or is there a way that my bassani optimum length ceramic headers would be able to work?

if you do a rear mount turbo set-up you could keep your headers. i've seen a front mount turbo and they kept the stock manifolds, ran more pipe and looked kind in efficient but it works. but best would to get an actual turbo manifold and have it be set up correctly.

You would have to flip the headers around. Thats if you have shorties. LT are to long.

you don't have to. it is all about how you run the plumbing for it.

unless you can bend you're headers and weld a flange on the stock ones will NOT work. you need turbo headers they have special design to allow turbo's to be mounted stock headers dont have a flange to even mount the turbo to. this is the hardest part to find when doing a turbo install.
