Default wrecked mustang what to do?

I posted months ago about my mustang wreck that crushed the side in and not reported to insurance, I still owe money and hate not having a mustang anymore! So after 2 months of trying to find a 96-04 mustang gt with out and engine of lightly damaged i have pretty much given up. Now I have been thinking of doing all the hard work of getting a v6 and swaping it since I the have a donor car lol. Should I look at certain year range? mine is a 2000 I know I have to use my wiring, ecu computer but do I have to change sensors for the air bags ext.? Would it matter if I get an auto and put a manual? Is there and write ups on this to give me a guide line?

Any help would be great
Thanks,
Brian

I sold my 2000 v6 for about $4800 with just over 100,000 miles. You should be able to find a cheap one. Nothing was really wrong with my car except brake calipers. The transmission felt as good as new.
