Default SSS exhaust

I really like the sound of them but havent heard any reviews from ppl who have them. Id like to hear from ppl who have them or anyone thats hear them in person. How do they stack up against flowmaster and magnaflow? They sound loud r they louder then flowmaster 40 series or magnaflow magnapacks with a catted mid pipe? Stainless steel exhaust is usually more expensive then the $400 they go for. So let me hear ur comments please.

I have this exhaust with long tubes and catted h pipe, and i love it.

They have a very distinctive and awesome sound, (very deep and agressive) and is pretty loud at WOT.

The quality of this product is also among the best!

Thanks man ima gettin this exhaust just need to find a mid pipe to pair it with ill wait till later to do the headers i hear they a major pain to do. I was thinkin BBK but one i could use with the stock header/ manifold or whatever is there and then when i get headers i dont wanna have to change my mid pipe. And i dont know the difference between shorties and long tude headers.

If you're going to do headers do long tubes... period!!! Not only will they sound better, they will really out perform the shorties if you start throwing some serious power at your car.

If money is a factor right now i would do the cat back for now, then do your long tubes with a matching mid pipe later.

I bought mine brand new from a private seller, but i do know AM is one cheapest for bbk headers & mid pipes.

I've always had great service from them as well.

Well i said @#$% it bought the BBK long tube headers, high flow mid pipe and the SSS 304 exhaust. I picked them up at summitracing.com same price as AM. My next question is are the copper gaskets something i should get or r they not really needed and a friend of mine told me to get these bolts that r kinda like self lockin or something like that are they worth it?

I would just replace the OEM header gaskets.

I think you're probably refering to something like a stage 8 locking bolt. I personally didn't get them for the simple reason that they may be tricky to take off (at least that's what i hear).

As long as you retighten your bolts after a few days or so (they probably won't need it. Mine didn't) you'll be fine.

You will have the same exact setup as me! I really think you're gonna love it!!!
