Not bad at all if you ask me. My only tips would be to go around the water and just do a good smoking dry hop, roll the clutch out @ around 3-4K before you mash it, and to concentrate on hitting your shifts at a consistent point at, or close to, your redline. Sweet looking GT!

id get rid of the passenger...lol. and personally wouldnt shift higher than 5500, minus in my case finishing the track in 3rd at like 6k. Had the car dynoed and its pretty much useless above 5500. pretty good 60 ft time tho, i had to get subframe connectors to get that, but then again you have gears and i dont...im jelous lol

yea you can have passengers, as long as they have the same safety equipment as you would need.

i was launching at about 1500 and kinda rolled the clutch out.
i had my shift lite set at 5500 but i wasnt even paying attention to it, the first run i shifted by instinct and the other 2 runs i was trying to go by the light and i dropped the tire pressure down to 22psi

the only reason i think i went slower was either because of the track cooling down or me just shifting wrong

you won't slow down because of things cooling down if you're consistent with your routine. The air cooling will help you. For now just work on being consistent with what you can control, which is leaving the line and shifting. Sounds like you have a shift light, if you do then USE IT. I'd set it for 400-500 before your redline. That's a big advantage for running both fast and consistent. 22 psi is fine for street tires. I forgot my little tool to take off my valve stems one time and still pulled a 2.05 60' when my best was a 1.98 so I don't think the pressure matters as much with street tires....just my opinion ofcourse. Just get yourself dialed in with your car and then you can make adjustments with changing conditions. Good luck bro.

tracks around here dont care what kind car or what kinda tires, as long as you run slower than 13.99 you can have a passenger... lot of people take their kids, then let off at the 1/8 or brake at the end and pull higher times so their kids can run

one track here doesnt care about safety stuff....guy here ran 11.6 in his renntech mercedes, with the top down, with a passenger, and neither had helmets
