I have to disagree. My Nitto's are 100% fine at the track. Everybody talks so much **** about them and I don't get it. They are a great street/strip tire, look at 01GT4.6, he pulled a damn 1.60 60' with 315/35 Nitto's. Plus if the OP plans on driving his car daily then the MT/ET's will get ate up quick.

So we went to the track tonight...ran a 13.4 at 104.4 with a 2.04 60'.....didnt hook how i imagined...i have bald nittos 555r 315 but i spun 2nd...i was determined to hit 12s so i got upset lol haha
I don't know wtf you're complaining about...90% of people in a lightly modded 2V, including me, would be extremely pleased with your trap speed, and your ET, especially considering your average 60' time.
If you told me your mods, and then told me that you were only going to pull a 2.0 60', I'd tell you that you were a 13.6 car AT BEST.
As it is though, you're looking at the 'almost' 12 territory with some tires and practice.
ha ha.. I dont really think thats too bad.. I run 1/8 mile here in WV and i run 9 second flat their.. Ive heard that you can add 4 seconds on your time or subtract it do figure what your car would run at another track.. so youd be 9.50's or right under.. Thats normal for cars with limited mods or s*** tires..
oh...and wow...just....wow....
I don't like being the kind of person that calls out a new member on things, so I'll try to be kind.
If you're not completely sure what you're talking about, then you're better off not giving information about the subject until you have experienced it first hand, or have learned from a respected source.
A 9.5 1/8th mile, is likely a 15 second car. He's well off of that as you can see. If I had to guess a 1/8th time, it's be in the 8.4 range.
