Default running 100octane

im getting back to the states in roughly 2 weeks, and ive done some upgrades to my car and plan on going to the track when i get back. ive never ran 100 octane or higher in my car and was wondering if it would be ok to run that much octane with full boltons, cams and nitrous??

The only reason to run a higher octane fuel is if you are having issues with detonation.

its not a bad idea to run it. but with nitrous your timing is retarded anyways so your not getting any advantage from the octane other than added safety.

its not gonna hurt anything to run 100, but if your not tuned for it its just a wast of money. i run a 150 shot and use 93 pump and never had a issue.

If you're tuned correctly for the nitrous, you shouldn't need the 100 octane.

If you have a 100 octane nitrous tune then it will be a good idea but if not there is no point to it.

even on a nitrous tune you wont need it unless your tuned for 100 octane.
