Sniper Commando, Yes or No
I dont understand why people are so scared to tune personally. Even the pros had to start somewhere. The only way to learn on the hard stuff is to practice on the hard stuff. Commando is fully capable of getting pretty much anything running right, you just have to be able to do it yourself. You will build a motor, do all the mechanical work in the world, but not spend some time to make it all work? Does not make much sense to me.
This banter is great. I'm still 50/50 and I appreciate both sides to the argument. I'm a nerd...need I say more?
I'm still going to talk to Bob but I'm also going to call HMS and see about this Cam thing that Ox referred to.

Mike... i voted no, you said once you finish your motor you are done with the car and are probably going to move on to another project.. why buy a the sniper, just to learn how to use it, and then tune your car and never use it again.. seems retarded to me, i say go to kurgan and get that thing tuned and be done with it
if your a nerd, and you like learning this stuff, I would strongly recommend going with Sniper and tuning yourself.
Personally I found it rewarding since I didn't do all of the work myself, at least I was able to tune it.
And for new stuff, it helps that I can make small changes and then tune it myself without spending a ton on dyno time.

No I have done around 20 cars with sniper and defiantly made my money back for buying it.
