because we have NO Idea what kind of 60' he pulled on his 13.8 run..
if it was a crappy 60' to begin with then sure, he'll improve a bit...but if it took a good launch to run the 13.8, there's no way he's going to replicate it with gears right off the bat..
DR's and some practice and you'll be low to mid 13's
*edit: sorry, he = you*

What were your trap speeds? 13.8 with a 2.3 is garbage... if you knocked it to a 1.9-1.8 with your "old" setup you could dip low low 13s... technically with your "new" setup and a good tire/launch you can see 12s... But can you drive? Can you launch? We dont know, so we cant tell you your times?

you should be letting us know what you can run. everyone posts these and there are so many things to take into consideration that its not even worth it. track prep, track temp, humidity, driver... that list just goes on and on. youll be running lower times because you had a 2.3 60ft running stock gears(old setup) and now you have a little more power with LT's, and gears which is a torque multiplier so itll only be harder to put it to the ground. the car wont be slower, just takes a little bit more driving to get the results. just go run it, thats the only way to find out.

the reason people are saying you will run the same times maybe a lil better is because you just had gears installed and its like driving a totally different car, i bet your first run at the track was not a 13.8 i bet you needed some practice and with the new gears that is what you will have to do. learn how to drive the car again.

Like everyone said, it will take practice. I say about 13.6 like most have said. You probably won't be used to launching with the gears, but then again I could be wrong. Gears help a lot, but it doesn't do a thing if you aren't getting traction.
