Default Throttle body install problem...

Got a trickflow plenum with a 75mm summit TB (were on backorder for TF) and the stupid cam on the throttle cable is driving me nuts! How in the hell do I get it back in?!

i think i had to remove some of the metal of where the the cable goes.

take a flathead screwdriver and a hammer and tap it in, thats what i did

Fire...... solves every problem

Seriously tho, just remove some of the material and she should slide ride on in there... Its a common problem on most aftermarket TBs

I had to wallow (sp?) out the hole with a drill bit to get it to fit in there. No big deal just an extra step.

Yea i had to remove some excess too...it was annoying the hell out of me. But you should be fine. Just remember all your vaccum lines or the car lopes really bad lol (I did that).

i had the same backorder issue last year with summit and the same setup as you, but i had no issues at all with the TB cable or cam or anything.
