Yea I have a 99 GT Procharged and my check engine light recently came on, so I hooked up my tuner and long story short bought a new IAT sensor now Im wondering wheres the other one, the guy at autozone was retarded and kept saying put it into the MAF but Im pretty sure I dont have one or the stock/traditional one with my procharger theres a pic of my engine on my profile if anyone can help id appriciate it! thanks!

 

it "should" be in your intake tube somewhere after the charger and before the t-body

 

I believe some of the pi cars had it built into the maf, so if they tried to use a lighting maf they'd have to buy an iat and mount it somewhere in the intake tubing and splice into one of the maf wires. My procharger intake pipe wanted the sensor before the blower which I thought was retarted but was still able to tune it ok.

 

Guys were can i buy a iat sensor? Im going to be using one for my lightning maf...is it a pain in the butt to splice the wires?

 

99s the IAT is in the intake tube. 02+ they are built into the maf.

 

It's about 6" behind the MAF and is about a 1" square sized plug
